ABOUT US
The Windsor Junior Woman’s Club (WJWC) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to “encourage involvement in charitable and civic activities and raise funds to distribute to local charities and causes we are passionate about.”
WJWC provides women (18 years and older) a variety of ways to serve the Windsor community, stimulate leadership qualities, exchange ideas, talents and friendship. We like to have fun while we work!
Members of the WJWC are involved with Windsor High School scholarships, the yearly Shad Derby Coronation Ball and Festival, and various community initiatives. Members also organize seasonal fundraisers, and is the only club in town that sells cotton throws with historic Windsor landmarks.
The WJWC celebrated 50 years of service in 2019, and is a member of the Connecticut Junior Women, Inc. (CJW).
Come see what we are all about! For more information, please feel free to attend any of our general meetings or an upcoming event. We look forward to meeting you!
